Okay so I am admitting the searching of the forum has been a bit of an issue and I gave up finding the issue and just decided to post. So I am sorry if this has been asked and answered.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 and a Blaze (current code). Today I decided to track my distance and map it. I started the exercise connected via blue tooth to my unlocked Cell phone in my hand. Saw that the connect was established and started walking. Regardless of the distance issues (Miles versus Kilometers) When I got home and stopped the tracker and proceeded to sync I learned it lost its GPS connection and only got the exercise steps and related, but not the course I took.
This is starting to make me question keeping this device.
I have now had to reset more than once the distance and weight settings and now I had this. I am willing to give it a chance, but fitbit you need to communicate better on these bugs and issues.

It's great to see you around @Andhanni. Keep in mind that the GPS that your Blaze is using is your phone's. It means that if your phone lost signal, your Blaze won't be able to communicate with it so your this information won't be recorded. If you do your exercise in an area where you can lose connection, I recommend not using the connected GPS.
I hope this helps, see you around.

@AndhanniWith other topics on this issue a few pointers have come out.
Many users are involved in testing the Connected GPS and to establish where the issue is we go back to fundamentals.
Firstly, you wear your Blaze but use the Exercise, Tracking feature (MobileRun) in your Phone App.. Do a simple test. ( as long as it is longer than a minute)... don't pause until the end, tap Finish and Hold to Finish. See if that syncs.. If that fails ensure you have run selected as the type of exercise and try again
We have found multiple pauses can cause you to lose the mapping.
We also try MapMyRun and get a similar result. If you test with both of those you can feel confident your phone's Connected GPS is working
Secondly some have found with Connected GPS they need the phone and the Blaze on the same side of their body to ensure a continual Bluetooth link.
Thirdly, on your phone you may need Wi-Fi off and Location set to "high gain" or similar.
You can also view this link to see some other pointers.. There are 11 pages starting from issues like yours and building up to workable solutions for many..

@Andhanni I've had the issue of starting a GPS run and everything looks good and then I'd notice I'll lose connection occasionally.
The one thing that has worked for me (I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge) is I make sure to do 2 things before I leave my house for a run:
1) Turn off Wi-Fi on my phone (I feel like once I'm away from my house with Wi-Fi on it causes issue)
2) Sync my Blaze to my Fitbit App on my phone.
Then I head outside and start my run using the "Run" option. I haven't had an issue with it dropping the GPS since I started doing these steps.
I hope this helps you!
