Blaze GPS recording frequency

I have a blaze linked to an S6 and I find the tracked distance is already less than it should be and often even half.
When I look at the GPS data points its clear the recording frequency is far too low.
I've tried recording alongside and without other apps, disabling power saving and with paired Bluetooth but it just seems to do what it likes.
Many tracking apps allow you to change the gps accuracy and recording frequency, is there a way to do this for the Blaze & Fitbit app?

@jase650 A warm welcome to the Community! Thanks for the troubleshoot that you've tried. I would like you to make sure that you have the latest version of the app. When you started seeing that the recording frequency was far too low? Are you using any other app that requires the GPS? 

Please try restarting your phone and log out and force quit the Fitbit app. 

Currently, it's not possible to change the GPS recording frequency. However, you can post this idea in our Ideas Board because those suggestions are viewed by our engineers and developers and the best of this is that people can vote for them.
