Hi All, firstly I will concede that my phone, the Sony Experia XA1 is not not listed as a supported device so I'm not expecting miracles here. In short, when attempting to track exercises (usually cycling/bike in my case) with the Blaze, no GPS data gets logged for the first hour or so of riding. Some more detail;
- my Blaze seems to be paired with my phone,
- fitbit app synchronizes with no problems,
- choose an exercise on my Blaze and I get the "let's go" notification (sometimes takes a couple of attempts if GPS is settling down)
- other GPS apps on phone manage to log GPS data, so I suspect my phone GPS is good,
- GPS data will start logging on fit bit about an hour into the workout
- GPS logging worked well with my previous Sony M4, so I suspect the Blaze itself is okay.
As much as I like the Blaze, it's unfortunately more cost effective to move to another tracker rather buy a new phone.
Many thanks to anybody who can offer advice.

A warm welcome to the Community @welsh_git. Keep in mind that not having a compatible mobile device might affect some features and the GPS is one of them. You can always try to follow the instructions provided in the My Blaze GPS is not working post.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Hi there @AlejandraFitbit, thank you for the welcome and the link to your troubleshooting guide. It's very comprehensive but unfortunately these steps did not help in my case.
Despite being a completely different setup and set of symptoms, I followed the advice given in this post advising that notifications be enabled from the Fitbit app. Distance tracking has now started working whilst walking (which is an excellent improvement), although I've not tried cycling yet due to a serious case of British summer weather.
Hopefully this information will be useful to others too - I'll be sure to update this thread when it stops raining I've tried cycling.
Thanks again for your assistance.

Those are great news @welsh_git and thanks for providing that link, I will save it for later. I hope you can track your information properly at the moment of cycling. If you need anything else, do not hesitate in posting it.
Happy stepping!
