Blaze HR different than HR monitor

Blaze is up to 20 bpm lower than my Polar HR monitor. Why is this so off? Is there anything I can do to get a more accurate reading? This was a big part of the reason I bought a Fitbit. Thanks!

@WendyB could be right @GruChamp.

The difference is the chest strap is looking at tye electrical signal that the heart looks at. The Blaze is looking at the changes thin Blood density in the arm as a result of the heart.

Most independent studies show at lower level of activity they're close.  And even more intense they should be close enkugh for the average person.

Have you looked at yhe heartrate FAQ yet?

Under help in the app is the quick start guide with info about the heart monitor.

Also there is a link to the Charge 2 Help sight, where you will find the user manusl.
