Blaze Heart Rate Registering Too High

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I'm not sure what happened. I haven't had any issues with the heart rate monitor until 2 days ago. For some reason my heart rate at any given moment was registering at least 50 BPM higher than it actually was. This led to my calories burnt for the day showing MUCH higher than I actually burnt. I have since reset the watch, turned it off and back on, updated the app, turned off the heart rate monitoring for several hours and turned back on, and updated the iOS on my phone. I really don't know what else I can try. I work in a call center so am sendentary most of the day. While sitting at my desk the watch is registering that I am actually in Fat Burning mode (which is not accurate when I take my own heart rate). I have even put on another person's Blaze which registers my heart rate accurately. This is very frustrating since it started suddenly and has not resolved on its own or with any of the suggestions I have read and tried through these discussions. Has anyone else had anything like this which eventually came to a resolution?

Huh, that sounds very strange @Aprilbaby1234.

I'd recommend (since you've already restarted your tracker and other things) to check your personal settings. Make sure that your weight, age, height and gender are correctly set as incorrect values in those fields will lead to inaccurate information. If everything seems to be fine and you're still having problems with this, feel free to get in touch with our Support Team and they will be happy to take a deeper look and get you back on track.
