Last week, I forgot to recharge my Blaze in time and it drained out. After charging it to the full, it failed to sync with my smartphone but asked me to set up the Blaze. I tried several hacks and all the time, the only option was to set it up all over again. I did it but the Blaze lost all the historical data. I thought it stored all the historical data in the smartphone. When I set it up the second time, it accepted my previous userid and password, but then, why would it lose all the data? How do I get my historical data?

Hi there @Sakthi! 🙂 Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry to hear that you were not able to sync your tracker but that instead you had to set it up again and it erased your historical data 😕
Now, it sounds like you might have been logged out of your account and for some reason created a different one and that's the reason why it wasn't letting you sync but you could only set up your tracker as a new device. I mention this because you said that it accepted your previous user ID and password (which I assume is the original). Now, if that was your main account, your previous information should have remained there. So, here's what I would like you to do:
Log out of your app. Log back in making sure you're using your correct email address and the correct password for that account. Once you're in, see if your historical data is available. Then, if your tracker is not paired, go ahead and set it up again as if it was a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
Now, just for you to keep this in mind. When you set up a tracker as a new device, it will not sync the information that was not synced since the last time you synced, in other words, the information that was still in the tracker unsynced, will not be deleted upon setting the tracker as a new device.
Hope this helps and if you need more help, let me know!
