Blaze Music Control Bluetooth MP3 player

Hi All,

I was wondering if my Blaze will connect to a MP3 player with bluetooth? I don't really want to clog my phone up with music and getting distracted at the gym with texts and calls so thought maybe getting a MP3 with bluetooth.

Just thought it would be cool if I can have the MP3 tucked away and control from the Blaze and see the tune tiltles.

Unlikely that's possible @Londontj as the music control is designed to control music on the phone with the music player installed on the phone..

Well @Londontj I've just tried it and it seems to work ok. My Blaze is currently paired with my Samsung S7 for syncing but I successfully paired it with an iPod via Bluetooth Classic and could control music playback. One note however, I couldn't control volume but I only played with it quickly to test it out for you. It seems to work in essence.

I am able to control the music on the Kindle Fire, never tried the volume.

My thoughts are the Blaze music control is setup to be an external BT keyboard, of the MP3 player can accept a BT keyboard it should work.

For displaying the song titles, probably nit
