Blaze Notifications

I've had my blaze since March and have been receiving notifications until recently and it will no longer notify me of calls or txt messages. I've tried everything I can think of and followed all the advice from other posts but nothing works. It is syncing with my phone for steps etc

In your phone's bluetooth settings, does the Fitbit show as a connected device? It will not show unless notifications are enabled in the app. Perhaps it somehow got disconnected?

@Dawn-E. Also, check on the Blaze itself to be sure the notifications didn't get turned off there.  Swipe down from the top). I know mine has inadvertently been turned off from my granddaughter messing with it.

Thank you, yes it shows connected. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting, tried removing and adding the app, removed blaze from app and then set up again but doesn't seem to work

A warm welcome to the Forums @Dawn-E, @SunsetRunner and @Kmransom123 thanks for stopping by.

I would like to know if you keep having problems receiving notifications? If you do, could you please tell me which phone you have so I can provide you the correct troubleshoot? In the meantime, please check if your phone is a compatible mobile device.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

Hi

My phone is compatible, it is an iPhone. As stated in my post I was receiving notifications up until a couple of weeks ago

Great to see you around @Dawn-E! 🙂

Have you tried by any chance to have your iPhone to forget the bluetooth bond with your Blaze?

If you've not tried this, you just need to go to the Settings section on your phone. Here, go to to Bluetooth option. Your bluetooth devices will appear here. Tap on the Blaze. You will have an option to "Forget device". Once you've done this, go into your app, tap on the icon of the Blaze to go to the Blaze settings and then scroll down to "Notifications". Enable them again and see if this makes any difference.

Let us know how it goes!

@S2000 what type of phone do you have, I'm not sure what exactly the problem is?  Is your phone compatible?

Good to see you around @S2000 🙂

As @Rich_Laue asked, have you checked that your phone is a compatible device? This leads me to the next question. Have you been able to receive notifications on your tracker before and then it stopped or you're trying to get this to work for the first time?
