Blaze Restarted During a Workout

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I was in the middle of a workout this morning (just a walk around my neighborhood before work) and I felt my Blaze vibrate and noticed it had restarted by itself without me telling it to.  I have had the Blaze for months now, and haven't had any issues.  Could this be a bug in the latest software, or is my Blaze going to start having hardware issues?  Could be a one time fluke, but want to check if anybody else has had this problem after the latest update.

Good to see you in the Forums @JasonSCarter 🙂

I've not really heard of people having their trackers restarted out of the blue with the latest update so I would expect this to be a one time thing to happen.

Keep an eye on it though and let me know if anything like this happens again.

My Blaze was happened same thing some times.
And I realized how to happened it.
Mostly, it would be happen to count illegal high heart rate without doing workout or so.
The reason of illegal high heart rate count is attached to unproper place on my hand.
It is around the wrist.
Now, I will try to attach my Blaze to proper place. So it is not happened.

I tried to bring back this phenomenon on the treadmill in the Gym.

When I attached my Blaze at improper position that is around wrist, and run fast.
Blaze counted illegal high heart rate (over 190). Then, It hanged up and restarted.

Other hand, when I attached Blaze at proper position that is about 3 finger apart from wrist.
Blaze counted accurate heart rate.
It was almost same count as heart rate counter that is attached treadmill.
And of course, Blaze didn't hang up and not restart as well.

I have tried to keep to attach Blaze at proper position carefully.
Since then, Blaze doesn't never restart.
