Hi

My FitBit Blaze screen has frozen on the alarm setting. I have tried swiping and pressing each of the button and I remain stuck on this screen. I've also tried resetting my FitBit and doesn't reset. Please help!

Thanks
Peter

Hi @Sully80, sounds weird, but I've seen a couple of other posts of tge Blaze stuck on various screens.

First lets make sure the Blaze is inserted correctly, this would not be the first time it was inserted upside down or not seated correctly(I've done both, amd read about others).

Now try holding the left and lower right buttons at the same time for 15 seconds.  Did the unit vibrate and the Fitbit logo show up?

If not and the display is still stuck, my thought would be to let the Blaze battery die and the unit shut off. This will reset all hardware, and plugging it in to its charger will start it back up. The clock might be off but a sync will fix this.

This shoild fix it,  then if it happens again i would contact fitbit, they can take a look at the tracker remotely.

Thanks Rich, I'll let my Blaze run flat which will probably take 2-3 days. I'll let you know if this works.

Cheers

Hi Angela

Thanks for making contact. Unfortunately my FitBit is still not working
correctly, the left button seems dead. I've tried canned air, adjusting the
screen so it aligns with the buttons as well as letting the watch run flat.
None of these have worked and I've contacted FitBit Support for a
replacement.

Thanks
Peter

Apparently this is a software/device defect and requires a replacement. Just received my RA a couple of minutes ago. Customer service was very responsive and aware of the issue.

Just found the advice of fixing my frozen screen very helpful. Press the left button and the lower right button at the same time. Hold for 15 seconds and I am back to functioning properly. Thanks.

My screen was frozen also. Completely unresponsive to touch. Buttons worked but couldn't navigate to different screens, especially the settings screen to try a restart. Holding the left button and bottom right for a few seconds worked.

This was great advice. Worked on the first try! Thank you so much!

I have tried holding the two right buttons but have had better luck holding all three buttons for 15 seconds or until reset.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! My Fitbit blaze was frozen for two hours before I read about holding all three buttons! Now it's back to normal! Thanks a million!

It's great to have you here @Kelcgray55! I would like you to try restarting your tracker. When you restart it, it just turns it off and on without deleting any activity data. In case you're using notifications, a restart will delete them.

If after performing the restart, it starts working but it won't sync then follow this syncing troubleshoot

Hope this helps! Man Happy

Thanks for your help.   I previously tried this fix but did not hold the buttons long enough.   I was really getting tired of checking the app on my phone to get updates on my daily progress.
