Blaze Sync Error, please try again *Tried Everything*

I am at my wits end with this issue...  Had the Blaze for about 5 days, charged it last night and now it won't sync.  I have tried everything I have seen on these forums:

  • Reboot Phone
  • Reboot Fitbit
  • Turned off then back on Bluetooth
  • Deleted the tracker from the app then re-setup
  • Force quit and then reopen the Fitbit app
  • Double checked location services was on and the app had full permissions as in Erick's Post
  • Tried all the steps in Lanza's Post
  • Checked my phone for known issues in Which Android devices have known issues post
  • I have other Bluetooth devices but none are currently connected to the phone
  • The Always Connected option in the Fitbit app is on
  • All-Day Sync is on

I have exhaused every troubleshooting thing I have found thus far on the comminuty forums and still nothing....  it's a bit frustrating becaue it worked fine for the first 5 days!

Device Info:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5
  • Android v. 6.0.1
  • FitBit Blaze Firmware Version: 17.8.301.8
  • Fitbit App Version: 2.42

How do I get my Blaze to sync

I have the same issues that you listed, driving me nuts!

Time is all messed up, it showing half way between two time zones, everytime I try to sync, it fails but it adds few floors, I've climbed about 8 floors today and on the app it shows 16 floors (good for my stats though!!).

I've tried all the tricks, with no luck! I hope this issue with the new software update....bloody first world problems!!!

Same here - had it for a week, ran battery down and charged. Voila, time is way off and the air has a pulse of 149. No amount of syncing attempts, pairing/unpairing, turn off and on combos works. Shouldn't have to try this hard to get the thing to work. Didn't have this problem with the Fitbit Charge. 😞

Same here, have attempted all the things stated, still not working, have had my blaze for 8 months, and I really enjoy it. Seems to be a bit of a universal issue though
