Was anxious to get the Blaze and get going on the fitness routines. Problems started during initial setup. Wouldn't update on Windows 10 or Ipad. Finally got it to update on the Nexus 6. After initial setup, was getting a lot of "Tracker not found" on the Nexus 6 which is the primary device I wanted to use to track stats since it's with me the majority of the day. Information was out dated and wouldn't sync to any deivice. Unpairing and re-pairing only led to more frustrations. Internet searches only revealed that this problem was affecting a lot of people.
Was seriously considering repacking and sending the blasted Blaze back. In my frantic efforts to get the thing working, I noticed the Blaze was pairing automatically to to all my devices. Out of curiousity, I turned off bluetooth on all devices that I didn't want to pair, and low and behold, the Blaze paired on the Nexus 6 and was syncing perfectly. Turned bluetooth back on the other devices, and all works well until bluetooh hiccups on the Nexus 6. It still indicates that it's paired but won't sync. I have to again turn off bluetooth on all other devices to get the Nexus 6 to work right.
My plea to fitbit is to work out this goofy bluetooth issue. Could be a Nexus 6 issue, but my understading with bluetooth is that a code should be entered when pairing with devices. I'm not getting that option on the laptop or Ipad. It just pairs behind the scenes.
My hope is that this information helps someone. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting and trial-n-error. I'm more satisfied with my Blaze now, but I'm still frustrated when I have to go through the bluetooth marathon.

This goofynous of the bluetooth hookjng up to the device with the strongest signal, and jot necessarily the device tou want it to, is a limitation of the BT Protocol. The problem is a Bluetooth recievrr like what's found on a BT speaker or your Fitbit is only anle to conect to one device at a time. This is well documented on the help site, and some of the manuals.
For me the easiest way around this is to set up one device to sync, then use the other devices only to access data. I can do this by telling the other apps to "not use bluetooth"
The apps only display the data that has synced to the server, and it doesn't matter how this data is synced.
Now there is o e exemption where when the phone app is connected to the tracker, it is able to display, but not sync, the data on the tracker. Thevapp at this yime is simply being used as a remote screen of the tracker.

This is a known issue with the Blaze, it is not a Nexus 6 problem. Fitbit is aware and working on a fix. For the time being, just use one device for syncing.

Hello @BlazinMad welcome to the Fitbit Community! @SunsetRunner and @Rich_Laue it's great to have you here. 🙂 @BlazinMad you can read more about what @Rich_Laue mentioned on the help article: Why is my tracker only syncing with one mobile device? . Also the Blaze will only display the 4 digit code on the set up process, once the tracker has been paired it will sync when you open the app on any compatible device.
Let me know if you have any questions! 🙂
