Blaze Syncing Issues

I have had my Blaze since Christmas and it takes forever to sync. Sometime never syncing at all. I have done all kinds of resets of both the Blaze, my phone (Pixel 2 running Android 8.1.0), and continually resetting the bluetooth on my phone. I am connected to the internet with a strong signal. I had an Alta about a year and a half before getting the Blaze for Christmas and never had any issues. Just wondering if it may be my device?

I have taken all these step multiple times. I bring up the issue because I never had problems syncing my Alta. It would sync immediately. The Blaze can take several attempts and, as noted, sometimes doesn't sync at all. Could it be the Blaze?

The problem seem to be increasing. The device of my wife does not sync either since few days while it was working on the same phone for > 9 years.

 

Look at the reviews in Android Play Store. The number of dissatisfied users is massively increasing.

There should have been an app update somewhere the last days which causes this issues.

 

But Fitbit support continues to send people to the troubleshooting and (outdated) compatibility list.

If you have done everything, they stop replying.

 

Very disappointing for a device of more than 150 bucks
