@Tarra - have you tried switching to "message" not "Message +"? I am on IPhone, but remember seeing someone else mention this setting......
Maybe that will help you?

I guess that will be my downfall then because I use message+ so that I can continue to text over wifi when im out of the country. I mean I could use whatsapp or what have you. But I feel like if it's an available option then it should function properly.

I have an Android LG2 and I receive complete text messages. I swipe up on the clock and it shows the # or name of the person texting in green; and below the little green message box is the content of the message.
I have yet to receive my Outlook messages. Still working on that! I LOVE the Fitbit Blaze.

That is exactly what I had to do....Change my message+(verizons messaging) to message (Samsungs default messaging) ....I also prefer messages+ on my phone but wont work with the blaze, it doesent show what anyone text only who from, now that I changed to the samsung default messaging I now can see the actual text... 🙂

I too am having that same issue with my new Fit Bit Blaze and my Samsung Galaxy S6. I have tried re-pairing both, I have tried different notifications within my cell phone, making sure my cell phone is up to date, but have had zero success. My fitbit Blaze will specifically show Phone #'s or names of those who call me, but only 'notifies' me if I have a message (no details about who the text is from or anything).

When I get 2 or more texts in a row from one person it shows that "2 messages" from "XYZ person". I cannot figure out if there is a way to read those individual messages, any ideas?

Thank you so much for the tip! I can now read text messages on my Blaze! I too would prefer to use Messages+. Any coordination with Verizon to correct this would be appreciated!

I had the same issue with the Message+. I changed my messaging program to the messaging app that came standard with my phone and now I am able to see the full messages.

Thanks. I changed from Message+ to Messages and that solved my problem. I agree that Message+ is a nicer messaging app.
