Blaze Touch Screen not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit Blaze touch screen is no longer working. My watch still calculates everything by me looking at the app, but I can’t swipe up/down or to the left/right. It seems that the touch is no longer activated. I have tried restarting my Fitbit. Charging it to the full capacity. I can’t turn it off bc I can’t slide to the screen. Any advice or next steps?

When this happened to me I had to let it discharge completely. Which is bad for the battery but yeah.

I’m sorry that you personally are suffering from choosing to go with Fitbit. I personally had a horrible service experience with them and personally think you will be out of luck asking for any real help from this community.

You won’t get a decent replacement at this point because they don’t make them anymore. Any they send you as a replacement have been sitting dead for months and the batteries are shot. It has been my experience that if you are near the end of the warranty and you get one of these replacements they will do absolutely nothing. You can look at my thread and see for yourself.

I’m sorry for your personal issues. I wish I could provide a better resolution because it’s frustrating but it’s the honest to god truth.

I had that happen temporarily, but never for more than 2 or 3 minutes at a time.

Sorry to hear about your issue, but I have nothing to recommend, unfortunately.

Thank you for your honest reply! It there a fitness watch that you do recommend? I don’t want/need anything more than the fitness portion in the watch. I was looking into the Versa. My Blaze will be 3yrs old in April, so I honestly thought that was a pretty good life span. The battery is recently shot too. It only lasts the day. It’s like everything fell apart at once.

If you can get a replacement offer take the percentage off deal then when you receive it sell it as new unopened and take that money to help buy something else. Either that or just buy something else now.

Since you have specially asked who I recommend my suggestion is Apple or Samsung with this decision depending on if you have an iPhone or Android phone.

My Apple Watch is not quite as good in some of the features. The sleep tracking I was able to extend with a 3rd party app and I paid $1.99 to remove the ads on the phone but you don’t have to pay just deal with the ads on the bottom of the screen. The watch populates its health tracking into the health app on the phone.

I can also say that Apple does go above an beyond in their support on occasion. It’s not a guarantee but my experience has been very good.

Once more I’m sorry that you have to deal with this. Really honestly the Fitbit is a nice product but the support or lack of it is a deal killer.
