Blaze Tracking vs Charge HR

I recently purchased a Blaze after having a Charge HR for the past year.  I am finding that when walking the same routes as before, the Blaze seems to track less steps.  The same walks are giving me less steps than the Charge HR was?  Has anyone found differences in how the various trackers actually track steps?  How do we make sure the trackers are tracking steps in the same way?

If anyone has had this issue, I would be interested in hearing about it?

Many of us have been having this issue since the software update in April. It counted steps fine prior to the "update". I eventually stopped using my Blaze and went with a different manufactuer. Theres supposed to be a software update coming this month that may or may not fix the issue. Nothing has been confirmed yet.

Welcome to the Community @CLgregg. Have you tried testing your Blaze? If you haven't, first, I recommend restarting it, after the restart process do the following:

1. Put your tracker on your wrist.
2. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
3. Pause, then check your tracker to see your step count.

If you think that it is being inaccurate, feel free to contact our support team since they have the proper tools to see the information that your Blaze is registering. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Wink

Thanks for that info. I just got my blaze in August so wasn't aware of that. I will hold out for the software update to fix this issue. I don't mind walking which is the whole point of this but to have to walk much further than before seems a little strange.
