I have not worn my Fitbit Blaze for about 5 months and the battery is completely dead. I've had it charging all day and it is, so far, not registering anything. If the battery goes without recharging for an extended period of time, is it dead forever? Is it possible to replace the battery, or do I need to buy a whole new Fitbit? And, if that is the case, am I better off buying a Garmin that doesn't need to be charged all the time?
Thanks for any help and/or advise.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @rbaresh. I'll be glad to assist you with your Blaze battery inquiry. Thank you for letting us know that you left your tracker charging all day.
Battery can not be replaced for another one. Please be advised that like with other electronic devices, if you stop using them, they can stop working. I invite you to follow instructions from help article Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? it will provide you with tips to charge your Fitbit again.
Let me know how it goes.
