Blaze average Battery Life

Hi,

I was wondering what battery life other people are getting from the blaze. I am finding that I need to charge my blaze every 3rd day (2 full days between charges) which is short of the 5 days approximate given to us by the manufacturer.

I have all day sync turned off, I have no alarms set, I have always connected turned off and obviously notifications are not used because of that. I no longer use the GPS function yet I still need to charge really freqeuently.

What is the average everyone else gets from this watch, I am disappointed that at less than a year old the battery seems to be deteriorating already, I hoped for atleast 2 years before I would need to replace much like mobile phones.

Hi @Donnamt16. Good to see you in the Forums! 🙂

The battery on the Fitbit Blaze should last for at least 5 days in average as you mentioned. If you're getting less than that taking into consideration that you said you're not receiving notifications on your tracker, or using GPS or other features, that doesn't sound very good.

I'd recommend putting your tracker to charge. Once it's fully charged, make sure to sync it and then start using it as you would normally do. Make sure to sync your tracker constantly and once the battery dies again, feel free to get in touch with the Support Team. They will be able to see how the battery was  behaving in the battery logs and once they can confirm that the battery is not working as it should, the will be more than happy to get you back on track!

Please let me know if you need more help with this. I'll be happy to give you a hand!

My experienece is the following: I need to recharge Blaze every 3 or 4 days, very-very rarely every 5 days. In general, I get in the morning low battery notification and I charge in the evening after coming home. Most of the time, at charge time there are some juice left, even after 4 days, mostly colored at the charge start time in green. After 5 days, when charge starts, the remaining charge red lines are almos not visible, so probably almost no power left at that time.

Last time I changed on Friday evening, and I will need to charge it today - 4 full days if I count it correctly.

Obviously battery usage is related to usage. I have standard constantonous synch, have the hourly notification to move (which is most of the time is unnoticable due to its very-very-very weak level) and get a couple (10-15) notifications on the watch. Naturally, more notifications, more work, more checking status etc on Blaze consumes more energy
