It's goodbye to Fitbit after many devices and too many failures - my Blaze has died one month out of warranty. Will no longer hold its charge and after much advice and research, there has been no change. Previous fitbits had dodgy bands that popped off my wrist. Or clasps that didn't hold the device on my pocket for a day without falling off. Never mind the actual life cycle which is ridiculously short for an expensive tracker.. Hello Garmin..

We have 2 Blazes and both are draining in about 4 days. It seems to point back to the latest version upgrade. We are also having issues with not getting notifications saying the battery needs to be recharged. What can be done to correct this aggravating problem?

After owning the Fitbit Flex, I received the Fitbit Blaze as a Christmas gift in 2016. It was working great until the last couple days, the battery suddenly went from requiring a weekly charge to a daily charge.
Now wishing I would've stuck with the Flex as I never had any issues with it.

My Blaze too has a battery that now drains in just a few hours even when not in use! I need to charge it 1-2 times a day, which means that I just can't use it! So disappointed..

Thank you for the tip dburkett3.
I have tried shut down a couple of times and now also tried reset before charging (several times now), but unfortunately every time the battery still drains so fast. After less than 2 hrs the battery level is less than half..
It is really frustrating and disappointing.

I have been having the same problem with the Blaze not staying charged. The charge will last a couple of hours, then at half full. I have tried the helpful hints of cleaning, turning off always sync, etc. doesn't help. At times when I start to charge the battery displays as full (green battery icon), when back in the band the battery hasn't fully charged.

My Blaze was fine 2 days ago and now it won’t hold a charge (overnight charge lasted less than 4 hours). Just a week shy of 2 years old. Is this really its lifespan?

I too am having the issue with the Blaze holding charge even 24 hrs! I had a Charge HR which I had the band separating issue after about a year and a half. I read the reviews about this and chose to purchase anyway. Then my husband got a Blaze about 8 months ago. He got sick and quit wearing his, so when my Charge HR band separated, I am wearing his. I've only been wearing it about a month. When I first started wearing it, it held charge fine and all was good. Then this past it suddenly lost charge in less than 24 hours and every day I charge it, it still loses charge! I went in yesterday and took off all the "extras" like no auto syncing, no quick display. Still . . . this morning it had the tiniest bit of "red" on the charge level! I do not still have the receipt, but it seems totally unfair that a $200 tracker would only be beneficial 8 months! And it was only worn 3 of those months!
