My Blaze battery does not even hold a charge for a day!! It’s almost drained by time I get home from work, I will charge it before bed so I can record my sleep pattern & by morning it’s less then 50% already so I have to plug it in again before I head to work! Why is it draining so fast?????

Hi, @BlazeKZ! How old is your Blaze? Battery life does degrade over time. Was this a sudden shift or has it been happening for a while?

Hi @BlazeKZ the Blaze was discontinued early 2018, so your Blaze is getting old. The batteries don't last forever and it seems this might be the case with your device. You can do a restart of the device, but ultimately the battery will die. There are no replacement batteries from Fitbit, but there are some third party places which sell and/or replace the batteries for you. I'm not sure if replacing the battery is something you'd want to do. The updates for discontinued devices only are done for two years after they no longer manufacture them. Might be time to look for a new device.

@BlazeKZ sometimes these devices just get old on us. My Blaze stopped working one day while charging. The screen went black and stopped charging and died while on vacation! I loved the Blaze, but I have the Luxe now and it's not as bulky, but it works well for my needs. Sorry this happened to you.

Awww @Odyssey13 that's heartbreaking! I think the Blaze is still one of my favorite models. I agree, it might just be the end for it. Sadly the batteries do degrade over time.
It might be worth checking the settings to see if anything has changed, but with the older model there aren't a lot of settings that could drain your battery that quickly if nothing else has changed.

@MakMak I was frantic. We were out of state and I actually looked up stores that had a replacement so we could get it on the way home. Unfortunately, no one had the Blaze and I didn't want anything else. Was a sad trip home, too. I still have the Blaze in my desk.
