Blaze battery leak

I bought a blaze today and as instructed i had put in on charging. Now when i removed the charger i saw some transparent liquid accumulated at one of the corners of the charger and the same was on one of the screws on the back of the blaze. I am suspecting this could be a chemical leak from the battery. Please advise
