Blaze battery: memory issue?

Hello. Unlike many others on this forum, I would prefer to charge my Blaze every evening on a fixed time. If I do so, would this deminish the battery's capacity? Of course I don't want to lose the possibility to postpone charging a few days (e.g. while camping etc.).

The memory effect as known from rechargeable NiCad batteries could be almost absent in a modern, high end battery, but what is the type and make of the battery used in the Blaze?

I'll be grateful for every bit of information!

Lithium ion batteries do not develop a memory like the old batteries, but they do have a finite number of recharges. It is usually recommended that you let the battery discharge at least  50%. However, I would not let it completely run dead as that can permanently damage the battery. I note my Android phone will shut itself down if the level goes below 10 - 15% in order to avoid this. My old HP GPS did not have that feature and I went through 2 batteries before finally giving up on it.

Thank you very much for the quick and complete information. It's clear that I'll have to adopt to a less strict charging scheme!
