Hi I haven't worn my blaze in 2 days and it shows I've burnt 1500 calories. Is there something wrong with my unit?

It is working fine. Per documentation I have read, base calories burned is calculated and then activity adds to it. Check out the article "How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?"

My band broke Sunday night and replace on Tuesday. Monday I burned 1649 calories.

It's great to welcome you @HumzaB and @Goosse1962 thanks for stopping by.

The calorie burn you are seeing is the result of your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR).

Your BMR is the rate at which you burn calories as a result of maintaining vital body functions. These functions include breathing and heartbeat and brain activity, among others. Your BMR usually accounts for at least half of the calories you burn in a day. When you created your Fitbit profile, you entered your gender, age, height and weight. Your profile and tracker use that data to configure your daily BMR.

I hope this helps, catch you later. Woman Happy
