Hi have had my blaze on for a day now and it’s counting to many steps it’s saying I have done double to what my fitness app on my phone says I have done. Does any one have any ideas how I can change this? I have change my stride length but it’s not made any difference.

Hi there @Jodielouwake12. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums 🙂
When it comes to the step count on your Blaze, keep in mind that the way that your fitness app counts your steps is for sure different to the way that your Blaze will count your steps. When it comes to your personal information, I would also recommend making sure that your height is correctly entered as this will impact your stride length.
Also, you could give your tracker as restart. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.
You can also do a step accuracy test. For this, see the number of steps that you have, then walk 100 steps by counting them in your head and when you stop, see the result and do the math. A difference of 5-7 steps would be okay.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more help with this!

Hi I have tried all that and it hasn’t made a difference it seems to count steps when I’m not even moving maybe it’s to sentive but this means it will never give me true reading so disappointed. It even tracked sleep last night when I didn’t have it on.
