Blaze damaged screen

I have had my blaze for less than a year now. I have loved it, so many good features. Well, like any smartphone or anything like that I own, I get screen protectors. So I purchased a tempered glass screen protector for my blaze because they have worked well with my phones in the past. Well I just had my first crack in the screen protector, so I left it on until a new protector arrived. I went to install it, and the old one would not come off, I kept trying and trying then I finally got it to start lifting, and realized, it was the screen itself on the blaze lifting up in the corner. I immediately stopped, and then the screen would not illuminate. I called customer support and they gave me a 25% discount, on a new one because they do not cover damage caused by user. I was also told, that they do not recommend screen protectors for this reason. I read through everything when I first purchased it, and I never read not to get a screen protector, bc of certain risks or whatever. All I know, the screen could not have been glued properly, or the glue was breaking down, whatever they use to set the screen. I was just disappointed that all they could do is give me a 25% discount. I can get a better deal through my work, but my wife did not know this to begin with and payed full price and gave this to me as a gift.

Ive had several screem savers on my Blaze, they keep falling off. However when i look at the edge of the screen it still looks like that there is a screen saver. Sorry but i doupt the warranty will cover an intentiona dismemberment of the screen.1498672651517662786856.jpg

Intentional? It was not intentional, as I did not want to ruin my blaze?
