I have a Blaze and an iPhone X. My husband has a Blaze and an iPhone 7. Our daughter has a Versa and iPhone X.
We often walk together and the stats on mine are wildly different to theirs (theirs aren't exactly the same on distance but close enough). My Blaze and iPhone 6 were correct so I'm wondering what is wrong that the same Blaze is so far out with my iPhone X. It's not even as if it's the same amount out each time, the km (and hence split times) notifications vary on the same course. I can have 1km more than them over a 9-10k course and 900m over a 5-7km. It's frustrating and renders my Blaze useless for not fit for purpose.

It's great to welcome you @TanyaH1357.
Keep in mind that the information between you and your family may vary since Fitbit estimates your information based on your height, weight, age and gender. For more information about this, you can check the help article How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?.
Now if you are seeing that yours is not being accurate at all, I recommend restarting your Blaze, measure and correct your stride length information.
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Thank you but I fail to see that that criteria would have any bearing on GPS measured distances can you please enlighten me. Much appreciated.

I now think that it is the IPhone X gps and not the blaze - so frustrating. Will get information and look at reviews on the Ionic accuracy etc and look at getting that one. It doesn’t appear that there are any options for different straps and it looks even bigger than the Blaze which is really big looking on my wrist as it is but the accuracy is important.
