Blaze draining battery too fast recently

Hi!

 

I have a Blaze for a year now and love it. It used to give me 5 days of charge easily. Recently though the charge lasts less than 3 days. Also it isn't recording cals nearly accurately enough when I do weights...Help

Hi, @Rajeev_blr, all rechargeable batteries will deteriorate over time and it sounds lke this is what is happening to your Blaze.  You can help to prolong the total lifetime of your batteries by avoiding deep discharges whenever possible.  Charging little and often is the best advice -- for instance many people charge their Fitbits while they are taking their daily shower, brushing teeth, etc.

 

Because your heart rate does not tend to be elevated during weight lifting your Blaze may under report calorie burn.  In that case you may want to create a manual log.
