Becasue the Blaze doesn't have a built in GPS (it uses your phones GPS) the best way I found to make it more accurate is adjusting the stride setting. I found the info on how to make that adjustment here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/How-do-I-measure-and-adjust-my-stride-length

Setting up the stride will help when not using the connected GPS,. As for the GPS distance being off, I think the map of your run will explain this. If you would like to post a screen shot we will be able to help.

Hi!
No i have the same problem! i went and changed the stride lenght and made sure it was correct but it did'nt work.. I started running with my phone to get an more accurate GPS and still it was about 1.2km off on a 8.5km run. My friend jogged with her Garmin and i went and maped the route out twice with my car and it all showed the same - the blaze is very inaccurate with its GPS. I'm sure if you just want to track your steps daily it will be fine, or acceptable, but if you are a long distance runner 1.2km on every 8km makes a big difference!
Hope this helps....

@MVoges is the recorded map inaccurate or just the distance reported?

@MVoges infirmal test a couple of us did look as if in the walk mode the gps is not used for distance.
Now in the run mode i did a 5K and the Blaze reported 3.2.
