Hi Support team,
My Fitbit Blaze heart sensor has stopped functioning. I swam with it while on overseas holiday.
I have tried the following which has been suggested in previous forums:
1. Put it covered in a rice bowl for a few days
2. Let the battery competed dead then fully recharge
3. Also restarted the tracker a few times
As a result of the heart sensor not working, the active minutes, sleep, and hourly 250 steps are not being tracked.
The heart rate sensor shows 70 bpm and doesn't move. The green light is showing though.
Please advise what else I can do? Would Fitbit replace it under warranty?
Thanks,
JC

Hi there @jchattz83, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with the heart rate monitor of your Fitbit Blaze after swimming with it on. Thanks a lot for all your efforts in trying to get it to work.
The Fitbit Blaze is water-resistant, which means they are rain-proof and splash-proof, however, we don't recommend swimming with it. In this situation, the warranty doesn't really cover this scenario but if you'd like, I can escalate your case to our Support Team for them to let you know which are the available alternatives at this point.
If you'd like me to escalate your case, let me know and I'll be happy to do so. Anything else you may need, I'm always around!

Hi Ferdind,
Thanks for responding back. It would be great if you could escalate and explore any solution to have it fixed before I purchase a new one.
Also I assume moving my account to a new fit bit wouldn't be a problem?
Thanks,
JC
