Blaze inaccuracy

Less than 2 weeks of usage of my new blaze. Very disappointed so far with the accuracy of the step counting. Consistently 20-30% under recording. I'm comparing against my phones inbuilt pedometer and my fiancée's brand new fitbit alta. We have similar stride lengths. Our walks together return wildly different steps counts. I've also compared mileage recorded against maps and its out as well. Walk distance divided by stride length does not equal the steps taken. I've tried walking 50 steps then checking the fitbit. Each time it's 40 or less. Seems a well discussed topic here. Any positive resoltions? I have logged with customer services yesterday and await a reply.

Hey there @Dark_cobra. Good to see you in the Community! 🙂

In the meantime, the only thing I can think of would be restarting your tracker a couple of times. Do this by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds and then try it out and see if there's any difference.

Let me know how it goes!
