Blaze inaccurate Calorie burn

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I'm using Fitbit Blaze from 3 weeks and observed that the calorie burn is not accurate. This morning I investigated and from the time I woke up and finish my work out, the total calories burnt were 1300. By evening 8PM, it displayed I burnt 2300  Calories. Do I need to setup anything on my blaze?! I use blaze with the Dominant hand. Any one facing the same issues, please let me know..

Thanks.

Hey @DVkumar. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Smiley Happy

It's strange that your calorie burn increased like that...

I would recommend restarting your tracker by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-15 seconds and also just to make sure, go to your profile and make sure that the information as weight and height are entered correctly. Try out your tracker for the next days and see how it goes.

Let me know if you need more help with this!

Hi there. Thanks for the workaround. Unfortunately that did not work out.
As a test, I out my watch aside while I hit the bed.blaze is not on my wrist but the time
I wake up to see the watch it shows 600 cal. This is everyday . Even if the watch is not put on.

Any idea??

Thanks,
Dil

Thats about the amount of calories I burn while sleeping for 7.5 hours. Your Fitbit Blaze, off or on, will show calories burned just for being alive (about 80 calories/hour for me). In addition when on your wrist, the Blaze will add extra calories based on activity level.

@DVkumar

Once Fitbit account is activated, you will see 'just being alive' calorie burn (basal metabolic rate) in your app and web dashboard and tracker. Even if you aren't wearing tracker.
