Blaze interfering with iMessages

This is NOT another post about receiving messages on my Blaze. This is about the Blaze interfering with iMessage.

Since pairing my Blaze, I will receive a buzz on both the watch and my phone about a message, but none will show up on my phone! It will sometimes show up on the watch, but is absent from the iMessage screen on the phone. Eventually, the message will pop up on my phone, but will show it came after my reply, or before I initiated the conversation (ie wrong receive order).

Clearly some sort of bug. But is it with my phone or the watch? I have turned off notifications for messages for the time being until I find a fix. But I’d really like to be able to turn it back on.

It's great to welcome you @HillsySK thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself.

Also, it's weird to hear that your Blaze is interfering with your notifications. Have you tried any type of troubleshoot besides turning this feature off? If you haven't, I recommend restarting your iPhone and your Blaze. You can one more time try the instructions provided in the How do I setup calls and texts notifications (iOS Fitbit app) post and test this feature.

Let me know the outcome. Robot Happy

I'm having a similar problem, but in my case my Blaze vibrates to indicate that I've received a text message and the message appears on the lock screen on my iPhone 7 Plus but the phone doesn't make the notification sound. It was working fine until about two weeks ago. I've double-checked the notification settings on my phone, powered down the watch and the phone, paired them again, deleted and reinstalled the app and so on. I've disabled text messages on my watch until there's a fix. Any ideas?

Turns out that it was my phone’s issue and not my Blaze’s. I turned off notifications from the Blaze, turned off iMessages on the phone, restarted the phone, and turned it all back on. Works fine now.
