Blaze is crashing

At 2 pm this afternoon I updated the app. Within 1 hour of the update, the Blaze has crashed twice, the steps are miscalculated and when I put into the charger it shuts down. At 3 pm this afternoon I had 14,000 steps. At 7 pm tonight I had 15,900 steps. When I went to sync the device I have 11,000 steps then when I called Fitbit for customer service then my steps dropped to 9,000. Now they are wanting me to but a new device because of their update. This is crazy.

It's great to welcome you @shannonjosey.

Could you please be more specific about the steps you have tried so far? Have you tried to restart your Blaze? If you haven't, I recommend restarting it by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

I hope to hear from you soon. Smiley Happy

I would also try a complete shutdown of the Blaze.
