Hi,
Only since this morning Blaze tells me I did 6000 steps . There's no way on earth I walked that much since I've been at home with baby. My Iphone says I did 1000 :P. The watch seems really too sensitive to my arm movement (walking with baby, changing diaper, etc.) and thinks I'm walking. Therefore all the other information it gives me is inacurate (calories, distance, etc.). How can I make it less sensitive ? I've already wear it on my non-dominant arm the settings are ok.
Thank you for your help 🙂

@Vanessa456 Continue to wear it on your non-dominant wrist, but try changing your wrist setting to Dominant. That will make it less sensitive to those small movements.

I've not had overcounting but, I did notice an over-sensitivity in the Blaze. Double-tapping your tracker on previous trackers would wake your tracker up and show the default screen. It does on the Blaze as well (I've tried it), even though it's not mentioned as a feature in the manual. I notice, even though I have Quick View turned off, my Blaze often wakes and shows the defualt screen. I'm not pressing buttons, I'm not touching it. It does so when wrist and arm movements are significant enough to send vibrations into the tracker as if it had been double-tapped.
There is a place under settings to adjust the sensitivity of your tracker, but the two settings are "normal" and "sensitive" and mine is already set to "normal". Also, I wear it on my dominant wrist and in my settings the Dominant Hand setting is set to "Dominant".
I've got a ticket into support. Let's see how they respond.

The setting is called quick view, and if your tracker will turns on with quick view of i recomend a restart.

BTW normal and sensitive settings are for sleep.

Where are the sensitivity settings located?

Under the trackers settings there is Dominant / non-Dominant setting.
There is also the sensitive and normal for Sleep

Not sure if this helps, but under device, there are settings for walking and running stride length. I have tweaked these until they are accurate with running on a treadmill or just walking. A good place to start is on sand or beach. Walk and Run. Measure toe to heal. Input those numbers and see if it becomes more accurate.

Of the Blaze is on the non-dominant hand, try chamonix the song to dominant.
This is one of tje realities of trying to count leg movements by looking at arm movrments.

I am having the same issue. I am getting ridiculous amounts of steps per day. When I wake up and go downstairs, I already have 120 steps and I get 500 steps for no reason when just walking around the house. My house is not that big 🙂
I checked stride length, and I think it is fine. I also wear it on my non-dominant wrist and I changed the setting to dominant. I still have a warranty on this, can I get it replaced or what? It is very dissappointing to see that Blaze is not something they say it is.
