Blaze is still syncing despite removing

I bought an Ionic and am giving my Blaze to a friend.  I've removed the Blaze from my account but my texts are still showing up on the Blaze and the music controls are still syncing with my phone.  How do I totally detach the Blaze from my phone/account?  Thanks!!

Figured it out - I hadn't removed the device from my phone's bluetooth.  Once I did that he was able to sync.
