Blaze loose in frame

I've had my Blaze now for a week. When I first got it, it clicked in and out securely from the frame which the watch's band attaches to. However, now it seems to be sliding forward and back inside  the frame. It is only a few milimeters but  this is concerning as I don't think it was doing this previously. Is there some kind of adjustment I'm missing? I was worried that having to pull the watch piece in and out of the frame to charge it (which... seriously? terrible user experience to have to do that, come on) was going to loosen it, and it seems like I might be right. Is this normal for this product? I bought it from Best Buy and have 30 days...

There is a thread on this subject from several weeks ago, this very slight up and down movement seems to be normal. I think you're just now noticei g it. My thoughts are that there needs to be some room for the Blaze to deform the fram enough to allow the unit to be inserted.

Its possible. I'm not sure I actually tried moving it in this way until now. Hopefully it doesn't start rattling or anything like that. I ended up getting a milanese loop so it is actually nice and snug now (and looks amazing) so I'm really not wanting to return it. 🙂

Its very possible that some frame allow more movement than others. As stated in the other thread, when an engineer designs something, depending on the tolerances needed, there is usually a built-in fudge factor. This would allow for a cheaper but adaquate build.

You'll find this, fudge factor,in all kinds of things, from parts in machines to your house.

My new replacement Blaze is super loose, my original never had any movement or play inside the frame. It's very annoying.  I'm thinking of ordering replacement frame that has reviews that it's too tight, maybe that will help? Still love my blaze:) getting me to move more! That's the goal right!?

Hey there @SunsetRunner. Good to see you in the Forums! 🙂

I'd say, use it for a while and see how it goes. If you notice that it's very loose and that your tracker could be in danger of falling off, let us know so that we can help you out with that!

Mine is doing the same exact thing, and my girlfriend's is not loose and wobbly as mine. So what is the solution to this issue? Since it is marked solved. I've tried plenty of other bands, but same issue and it wasn't like this in the beginning.

Because of the way the frame is made there nweds to be a little up/doen movement. Without this the Blaze will never come out of the frame.

My question is how much does it move?

Also please notice the the side rails wrap around the pebble locking it in.

I just got a replacement and I'm having the same wobbling issues. It seems to move quite a bit

Fortunately, I also had mine replaced. I do believe however, that the newer
Fitbit that will be released soon, will be better than the Blaze. It wont be too inconvenient as
the blaze. Will be one solid piece, other than the, pop in and out!

Geeez there goes my money!

A warm welcome to the Community @jpguitar27 and @EltonS it's great to see you around.

If you are seeing that your pebble is loose in the frame, please provide me with a picture where we can see this.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy
