Blaze losing charge too quickly

I bought a Fitbit Blaze in early 2018 in the UK.  I now live in India.

My Blaze is losing charge (after fully charging even overnight) within less than an hour of my starting my walk.

I shut it down and restarted it but there is no improvement.

It is updating the step count on my Fitbit app on my mobile phone more or less correctly although the screen on the watch had gone blank while walking.  This is after a walk of about an hour and a half.

Is the life of the rechargeable battery only about 5 years?

Do you have a solution?  Is there an update or reset that I can do?

Hello @Bheem and welcome to the Community.  Rechargeable batteries have a lifespan.  Some users can get more than five years, but five is a reasonable average.  I’m sorry, but your battery is acting like it’s at the end of its lifespan.

Hi @Bheem , @LZeeW is correct - batteries get old and give up the ghost eventually.
