Blaze lost timezone after I turn it off

I turned my blaze off this afternoon as I had low battery and wanted to save it for my workout. I turned it back on at 7pm and worked out for an hour with it in 'workout' exercise mode which I started and ended manually. This tracked my calories, heart rate etc correctly (I believe)

however, after my workout I went to see the exercise summary on my iPhone ap- it said my workout was nearly 4 hours long (starting at 4pm when the blaze was off).

does anyone know why this would be? It's irritating not having accurate workout info!

Hey there @Daisy118213! The reason why it showed that the exercise started at 4pm was because it lost its timezone. Every time you turn off your Fitbit Blaze it will lose the timezone. So, you need to make sure to sync it right after you turn it on.

Currently, it's not possible to edit the exercise. However, you may want to delete it and manually log it.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Hi

So although it says that i was exercising for 4 hours, will the calories burnt be correct or has it taken my calories burnt in the workout and added on an estimation of calories generally burnt when fitbit was off? I say this because when i ended my workout it said on the fitbit i had burnt 570 cals but when checking on my iphone that evening it said over 700 for the 4 hour period

Thanks for getting back @Daisy118213. All the information that your Blaze tracked and it's showing in your Dashboard is correct the only thing that's different is the time that it says it was tracked. The information that your Blaze tracked shouldn't change and when it synced to your Dashboard it should be exactly the same.

Has this happened before besides this time?  Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Keep me posted.
