Blaze no longer paired - Bluetooth Issues

My battery died last night.  I fully charged my Blaze and now it won't pair with my phone and the time is off by several hours.  When I try to re-pair it I receive the following:  "Bluetooth Issues:  If you see this message for the first time, press Cancel and try again.  If you continue receiving this message, press Restart Bluetooth to turn Bluetooth off and on."  I have tried it several times.  I have connected/paired my Blaze by turning on Pair on my Blaze and pairing to my phone and it works, however the App won't pair.  It finds my device but then says it can't pair.  What do I do?

I found the exact wording from Fitbit from my msgs.

1) open Bluetooth settings and unpair it (if it still shows on phone) and turn BT off.

2) open FB app, click account, blaze, click the dustbin at top right corner, or scroll down and click unpair.

3) once removed from the app, restart both the tracker and the phone

4) turn phone on, open app and set up new device.

good luck!

I had this problem and followed advice from Fitbit which sorted it.

Remove the Blaze from your app, reinstall app and then reconnect your blaze to the app (set up new device).

it sorted the same issues you have.  Hope it helps 🙂

It did not work.  I uninstalled the app, unpaired my Blaze from my phone.  Reinstalled the app and clicked Setup Device and followed the onscreen instructions and received the same message about the Bluetooth Issues after it found my tracker.  Frustrating.

Thank you.  I uninstalled the app, unpaired and deleted my Blaze from my phone.  Then restarted my phone and turned off my Blaze for a bit.  I just reinstalled my app and setup my device and it worked.  Yeah!!!!

Thank you again for your help!

You're beautiful Lulu ! This worked perfectly. But really, Fitbit we shouldn't have to go thru all this **ahem** to do a simple sync operation.
