Just received a Fitbit Blaze for Xmas. Really disappointed in the accuracy of this particularly on the number of steps taken. I'm recording thousands of steps in a few hours when I know I haven't walked that much. It also appears that moving your arm in any fashion whilst standing registers steps which makes it rather pointless in my view, I mean when you stop walking you don't keep your hands to the side. Tried all the tips on stride length adjustment, which obviously won't make a difference on the sensitivity of the device. Even set it to dominant hand and still too sensitive. Feel the app is rather restrictive as well.
Contemplating returning this for a refund. £150 for what appears to be an extremely overpriced digital watch. Sorry

I had the same issue. Logging thousands of steps without me moving an inch. I had a thread on it:
I got no replies and I opened a support case but similarly got nothing back. I returned mine on Friday have a replacement coming, hopefully it was a one off but reading your post makes me wonder.

I've been using mine for about a weeknow. I've notoced it is about 5 to 10% too high. But somtimes I find it doesn't count my steps if I just move 2 to 5 steps.
The BP is also off. It seems rto be 10 to 20 BPM too high.
