Blaze not charging

Hi, I just received my fitbit blaze.But during the set up I had a warning says that battery level is low so I was not able to continue.

When I put my watch for charging (correctly which the pins are alligned and frame is closed) I am not able to see any charging indication and after couple of hours only thing I can see on the screen is fitbit icon and fitbit.com/setup

I think I can help you with this.

Whenever you charge your tracker but it has not been set up, you will not see a battery indicator on the tracker but will most likely see only the "fitbit.com/setup" message. Whenever you plug the cable to any USB port, the module should vibrate and that way you will know it's charging. After about an hour there, you can try to set up your tracker again and it should go through without any problem.

I'm having the same exact issue as @Abert and so many others here describe. Got the Blaze charged through a wall outlet. Tried multiple computer USB ports and none would work. Also not vibrating at all when plugging in for a charge.

What's even more frustrating is that I spent over one hour trouble shooting through chat with FitBit and they could not help. Only suggestion was to exchange the device for a new one.

Just not off to a good start. Already cosidering going with Apple. Charging dock-thing-box is just plain gooffy and awkward...

I have the same problem.device is also not vibrating,after charging of 4 hours ,I tried to update but still the app says battery level low and failing to update and setting up the device!

It should charge in 1-2 hours max.  Charge via wall outlet rather than a computer USB port.  The power is low there, and if your computer goes to sleep, it won't charge the Fitbit.

I had the same issues.

The Fitbit must be drawing more current than most Laptop/PC ports can offer during the charging process. Your best move is to use a good quality high current (probably around 2A (2000mA) or more) USB charger/charging station/port.

Works on a decent charger without issue.
