Sadly, my fitbit blaze stopped charging. I haven't had it a month! They are RMAing it, really glad I got a third party multi year third party warranty. The video below is what I get after hours of charging.
Has anyone else had this experience? Kind of dissapointed for this being a watch that I'm expected to wear while working out. I would have expected it to be more durable. I am glad Fitbit is RMAing it at their expense, hopefully the experience with this units replacement will be better! On the flip side, I love my scale still.

Have you tried shutting down the blaze before putting it in the charger?
Are you connecting to computer or wall charger?
Have you tried different usb wall chargers?
Some older ones aren't compatible. I found that out the hard way when charging began to drain the battery for me. I switched wall chargers and all was well.

I can't really shut it down since it doesn't maintain a charge when disconnected the charge pads in the cradle, as for the charger's power source... I typically plug it in next to my bed using a 60 watt Sabrent power station with 10 USB recepticles. Most days it charges only my smart watch (now the Fitbit) ipad, personal cellphone, work cellphone, bluetooth headset, and headphones. I made the switch to the Fitbit when I switched back to an iPhone from an Android (my employer is really iPhone centric).
At this point I'm assuming its a bad battery, and hoping that it is just a fluke bad unit.

Have you tried charging it from a different usb charger? It would be worth trying before just assuming it doesn't charge.
I definitely suggest a shut down if at all possible.

Yes. From my Macbook Pro, and from a five port anker charger, and from a car charger, and a stand alone 5.25 vDC 2.4 Amp iPad charger port. Both the my bedside and work desk charge stations are 2.4 Amp capable at 5.25 vDC from the "smart" ports which easily fits the specification for the Fitbit Blaze.
As an Electrical Engineer, I'm fairly confident in my prognosis for what is wrong with it and will be RMA'ing it; its far too new to be battery cellular 'memory' (rapid depletion) and the pads from the charge cradle meet specification. 🙂
The purpose of this thread was more to see if the rest of the community has seen similar issues and if its worth checking out an alternate product from fitbit versus continuing to invest in the Blaze. IE If its flawed, the next time I have an issue, I'll enact the third party warranty and get cash towards a replacement rather than continue to invest into a product that has issues.

I see. If the issue is in fact a faulty battery I would contact support to get a replacement, or whatever your warranty is provided through. Hopefully the next one you get works as expected.

Already have. Did so before posting this thread, I just want the user experience. 🙂 If the next one breaks, I'll get an alternate product. Maybe the Fitbit Surge as its been out a little longer and may have a better QA track record.
