Blaze not charging

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have tried the chat line, but that doesn't seem to work at all. So I will go this route. Have had my blaze for a few years and it has always worked like a charm. Then yesterday when I tried to charge it, it was a no go. Just won't charge any more. Have not done anything different. Any suggestions?

Hi @NortonOma50  same thing happened to me when my Blaze died. It was fine and when I put it on the charger, as always, it simply didn't charge and stopped displaying any lights. These devices don't live forever. Might be time for you to find your new Fitbit, since they are on sale this time of year.

We have owned 3 fitbits over the past 5 years and every single one stopped working for no reason. At first customer service was all kind and sure we'll help you out, but when push came to shove all they would offer was a 35% discount on the Fitness Versa 2 - last year's model - which I am sure will stop working again after a year or so. I told them that I was interested in buying 2 Versa 3s, and that's when they just said, you're on your own, we don't care, we won't help out. Now looking to change to another fitness tracker. Will not be buying Fitbit again. Do not expect any customer service from this company. Getting too big for their britches.

Did you try plugging the charger into a computer, or a different wall brick?  Those bricks(the wall plug) go out sometimes. Also, it could be the wire or cradle itself. Without a new cradle I wouldn't know how to test, although if you know anything about electricity you could check the cradle with a multimeter to see if it's producing any electricity.

The watch isn't necessarily the problem, but yes, the batteries in these things don't last forever, just like phones and laptops.

Also, to the other poster, if you're out of warranty, why is it Fitbit's responsibility to give you a deal because an older watch died?
