Blaze not connecting via startup

Hi there.

I've had my Blaze working great since I first bought it abot 5 months ago. Just the other day, I noticed that the watch was not receiving any notifications from texts or messages from facebook or calls etc. I've done the whole unpairing on my Samsung s6, I've uninstalled the app and everything that comes with restarting it back to the original state.

The Blaze is able to pair with my computer no problem, however not pairing it to my phone is not working. It always quits on my at the "tracker found" but no numbers show up. I've paired back to my Bluetooth, but I now sometimes get the "restart Bluetooth" message.

Am I doing something wrong? Never had this happen

Huh, that sounds strange for sure @Anthony_B 😕

What I can think of right now would be removing your Blaze as a connected device on your bluetooth settings and doing the pairing process again. For this, go to your Bluetooth settings on your phone. Here, tap on the Blaze that should appear as a connected device. Then, choose the "Forget this device" options. Once you've done this, restart your Blaze. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

After that, set up your tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Let me know how it goes!

I was also having this same problem and came across this post and reply. I tried all not the above suggestions with no luck. My Fitbit just stopped syncing at 10:58 last night for no apparent reason!

Hi there @Cmariejk,  great to see you in the Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry that your tracker stopped syncing. 😕

Just to be sure...  this means that your tracker itself is working fine but it will not connect to your phone, is that correct?

Now, after restarting your tracker with the instructions I provided above, does that make any difference? Do you get any error message or what exactly happens when you try to sync it?

Hi. So, I triedIMG_3010.JPG all of the above suggestions and when I try to sync via
the app, it says it can't find my Fitbit. It randomly updates about twice a
day, even though I have it set to all day sync, and my phone notifications
never come through anymore. In fact, they only did for one day since owning
the Fitbit. Additionally, when I try to connect to "run" the Fitbit can't
find my phone either. It's weird that it randomly syncs around every 12 or
so hours, but won't sync when I manually do it. I'm beyond frustrated.
I don't believe it's my Bluetooth, as my previous fitness watch, a Garmin,
always connected and received notifications in real time. Oh, and the
Fitbit has never been able to link with my music app.
