Blaze not counting all steps

I bought a Blaze last week, had to replace the 1st one as it simply froze on the the fitbit symbol. Got a replacement but it isn't accurate. It is 1300 steps out on a 45 minute walk - compared to another app. How do I make it more accurate? I see a lot of people having the same problem.

If you are seeing that your tracker isn't being accurate, I recommend restarting your Blaze, walk 100 steps and let me know how many it registered. Also, to make your tracker more accurate, you can measure your stride length information.
