Saw another post on this topic that provided an explanation that doesn't work in my situation. Hiking outside on a non-windy day, climbed ~120 floors (Based on multiple other records of same hike), and today my Blaze only recorded 45 floors. Only difference I can think is that today I was tracking exercise, synced with my phone, while I did my hike, whereas normally I just look at the stats on my home page. Any other suggestions for why the Blaze may be inaccurately counting these floors? Thanks!

A warm welcome to the Forums @Labassetdad. Keep in mind that your Blaze may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Occasionally your tracker may detect pressure changes unrelated to elevation gains, such as a gust of wind, weather change, or opening a door. Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors being counted. This happens if the pathway to the altimeter on the back of your tracker becomes temporarily blocked with sweat or water.
Can you please tell me how you are logging your exercise? Are you selecting hiking directly from the Blaze or are you manually logging it? In the meantime, to negate that extra information, you can manually log the activity "Driving" by doing the following from your Fitbit app:
1. Tap the "+" icon
2. Tap Track Exercise
3. Enter your information
4. Tap Log It
5. Sync
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Hello,
I have had the same issue. When I finish my hike the stats show that I had 430 ft or 43 floors. When it syncs with my Samsung S7 fitbit app it dropped to 34 floors. This looks more like a programming bug then a hardware issue to me.
