Blaze not holding charge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased my Blaze on Amazon January 17th of this year.  I've worn it daily since.  The past 2-3 weeks I've noticing that it began draining the battery much quicker than normal, so I looked up some troubleshooting tips and shut off pretty much EVERYTHING except the step counter.  I reverted the clock to something basic.  I figured this would do the trick... uh no...

So I put it on the charger cause it died within a day after I did that.  I've restarted it several times.  Sunday morning was the last straw and I really want to roll my car over this darn thing.  I let it charge overnight, put it on in the morning, drove a half hour to pick someone up.... it was DEAD... it was off the charger for literally like an hour and it died.

There has to be something wrong with it....

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

Thank you for the post Wendy, but that's all been done ad nauseum and to no avail.

I am having exactly the same problem thing dies within 4 hours. It’s so frustrating. Mine is only 6 months old.

i did all the thinks in the help article basically shutting the watch of so all it does is tell the time and it still dies.

I have a case number open with Fitbit will let you know if they stand behind there product. From what I have read on other feeds I think we are up creek on this one.

For the last 2-3 weeks, my Blaze kept telling me I had notifications.  I did what Support said (reset, sync x 3).  It seemed to do the trick for a day or so, and then it would go right back to doing it again.  Then, over the past few days, my battery is draining in like 1 hour after pulling it off the charger.  I did all of the troubleshooting and it didn't help.  My Blaze is almost a part of my body and having it malfunctioning is disconcerting 😞
