Hello my Fitbit blaze which turned a year old in July is no longer able to hold a charge. I’ve tried turning it off and on, resting it. I’ve tried reloading it through Fitbit, I’ve left it charging for longer periods-everything I could find in the Help support. I’ve cleaned contacts, etc. What are my options? Can the battery be changed?

The battery can not be changed
See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

Mine wasn’t holding a charge either. I contacted customer service as it was only 9month old. I was advised to reduce screen brightness, turn Bluetooth and auto sync off and deliberately connect my phone to my Fitbit when I wanted to sync data. It has increased battery life by roughly 50% as was only lasting a day and a half before.
Hope this helps.
