Blaze not receiving text notifications

Hi guys,

 

I'm hoping someone here can help me out as I'm going mad with this! About 3-4 months ago all of a sudden my Blaze just stopped showing text message notifications. Phone calls and everything else were still being displayed but texts weren't. At the time I had an iPhone 6S+ which I had upgraded to iOS 11. I upgraded my phone to the iPhone X a month ago and the same issue has carried over from my old phone to the new one. Call & calendar notifications are working perfectly but texts aren't.

 

I've gone through every single 'fix' I can find on the Fitbit support forums and elsewhere, reset my Blaze countless times, reset the Bluetooth connection loads and deleted my Blaze completely and started again a ton of times too and nothing is working at all.

 

Help!

Hi @jayisherwood, welcome to the Community!

 

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. If your Blaze isn't receiving text notifications, I recommend taking a look at the How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? article and check that you turn on properly this feature.

 

Also, please make sure that your notifications settings are correctly configured your iPhone for the following apps:

 

  1. The Fitbit App
  2. Phone
  3. Messages (text)
  4. Calendar 
  5. 3rd Party Apps

 

If everything is properly set, please provide me with a screenshot of your notification menu in the Fitbit app.
