Mine either. Reading the reviews from the google play store, leads me to believe this is a big software bug. Lots of users are having the issue (with all different Fitbit products).

I have restarted bluetooth...didn't help
Uninstalled/reinstalled the app...worked for a day (now it won't sync again...even after doing the uninstall again)

Wish I had an answer for you 😕

I'm having the same issue online, not on the app.  Blaze was syncing until this morning, Mon. 9/19.  Un-linked MFP and tried to re-link but keep getting "Access token request failed."  This has to be from Fitbit's end since it's refusing to accept MFPs request.  Has to be something with the recent Blaze update by Fitbit.  Hope we can get some answers soon.

@DLPaulk when you say the Blaze is not being recognized, are you trying to set it up? Or are you in the Bluetooth setting screen on the phone, you should not be, it needs to be done in the app.

I'm trying to figure out where the problem is, syncing, setup to the account, or is it a new phone?

@bonnie4clyde let's at things to try, we are going the drastic route:

  • Power off phone then restart. This usually works the one time a month i have problems. You might try a sync or do the next step.
  • Turn the Blaze off from its settings menu. Try and sync.
  • Still isn't suncing? Go to your phones Bluetooth, tell it to forget the Blaze, the Blaze Classic can stay. Try a sync.
  • Now if it still doesn't, then set the Blaze up as a replacement tracker of itself.

To setup go to the fitbit device screen - press the plus sign in the top right - now choose your Blaze to replace and follow the prompts.

A note about the Fitbit app, when updating or installing if the tracker won't sync then do a restart of the phone.

About the reviews in the play store, please remember there as on these forums it is skewed towards the relatively few that are having problems, most people without problems don't leave comments or come here.

Please kept us updated.

Mine isn't syncing either and I'm BEYOND fed up with trying different things everyday to get this to work. Turned phone on/off. Uninstalled and reinstalled apps on my Galaxy and on my Ipad. Reset the Blaze. Really?? Getting older waiting for this to work again.
